KATE GRANT
We had never heard her before. She sang and played like the Princess she appears to be! Obviously an outstanding young talent perfectly suited to house concerts.
GERRY MORAY
Another newcomer to house concerts. He offered us a very catchy number delivered with a strong personal style.
LUKE CONCANNON & JOHN PARKER - NIZLOPI (2 songs)
Recently formed and discovered, they stunned us all. Them blues have never felt so good. Luke is a red-hot singer-songwriter. John on double bass is one of the finest musicians I have ever hugged!
JUJU & GAREMA
The pop star voice of Juju will resonate in your being long after you have heard this song. The sitar touch is fresh and adds a wonderful ambience - Garema's intuition is spot-on.
LUKE ADAMS
Here's another one who knows how to connect with your inner most being. Luke said he wasn't feeling at his best tonight but this guy is quality through and through and it's always a privilege to hear him.
JUJU & GAREMA (second piece)
BARNABY O?RORKE (2 songs)
A great original singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist & performance artist who contributes enormously to gigs in digs.
HANNA BURCHEL, MAGDA REISING & MARJORY ASHENDON - SHAMANA (2 songs)
Listen with your skin to those harmony vocals and your body will glow with eternal happiness. Utter loveliness.
SOPHIE MOLETA
She draws you into her depths with the minimum of fuss. She demonstrates the power of simplicity and honesty.
EDMUND KURKJIAN (2 songs)
If the rivers ever run dry I will call on Edmund to draw salt water from my eyes! This enigmatic young star dares to look (so soon) at death and to reach beyond. Truly awesome.
PAUL CHI (improvised song to round off the evening)
"You're valid" I sang. We came together and gave of our best tonight. Meanwhile, many millions of TV viewers were fixed upon the sound and story of the great Paul McCartney. We were only about 50 but we carried the torch for reminiscent humanity.
Coming soon: Sharon Lewis, Natasha Jones, Phil Ias, Charlie Villiers, Ivo Weisner, Ben Bannerman...
